1 yard is equal to about 3 feet (36 inches).
Imagine a square, 3-dimensional box that measures 3 feet on each side. To get a better idea of real-world scale, it's about the same size as a standard kitchen stove, a consumer washing machine, or a small recliner (please don't put these items in the dumpsters though!)
Our smaller roll-off dumpsters can fit up to 20 cubic yards, while our larger sized units accommodate 30 cubic yards.

A 20-yard dumpster, as you may have guessed, holds 20 cubic yards of material, equal to 60 cubic feet. This is roughly equal to:
☑️ 7 pickup truck loads
☑️ Ideal for medium sized clean-outs, remodels, roofing jobs, new home builds, and more!
A 30-yard dumpster, as you may have guessed, holds 30 cubic yards of material, equal to 90 cubic feet. Which is roughly equal to:
☑️ 11 pickup truck loads
☑️ Best for large sized clean-outs, major renovations, new construction, and commercial uses.
If the contents are solely construction debris/waste, then a weight limit is not applied.
Both sizes of our dumpsters have walk-in doors for easy loading. The 20-yard dumpster has a lower top rail, much easier for loading by hand. The 30-yard container is better for larger, bulkier waste. Please see the graphic below to view actual measurements:

In many cases, we can offer next-day, or even same-day delivery depending on availability and location. Scheduling ahead helps guarantee your preferred delivery time.
Dumpster service periods last for 30 days or until the container needs to be emptied. However, if you need more time, let us know!
Nope! As long as the delivery location is apparent and accessible, we can drop off or pick up the dumpster without others on site.
Dumpsters are usually placed on or near a driveway, job site, or other flat area. Please allow clear access for delivery and pickup. If the only placement is on a public street, a permit may be required.
Keep in mind that a full dumpster can become very heavy and can damage driveways, lawns, or other surfaces.
A couple sheets of plywood can protect a driveway from the metal wheels of the dumpster. Similarly, 2”x4” or 4”x4” cuts of lumber can support the front of the dumpster to further protect and mitigate damage caused by sliding or dragging during pickup and delivery.
Actually, yes!
☑️ Distribute weight evenly, or toward the front first.
☑️ Do not overfill the container above the top rails.
☑️ Reminder: Avoid placing prohibited items in the dumpster.
Approved materials typically include:
☑️ Construction & demolition debris
☑️ Concrete, asphalt, brick
☑️ Household junk & furniture
☑️ Yard waste & debris
☑️ Wood, drywall, & roofing materials

❎ Hazardous Materials (including medical or biological waste)
❎ Paints, solvents, & chemicals
❎ Tires
❎ Batteries
❎ Electronics, E-waste (TVs, computers, etc)
❎ Appliances

If you’re unsure about an item, give us a call and ask; We’re happy to assist!

Of course! Planning ahead will certainly help save you time and money:
☑️ Don’t overload or overfill the dumpster.
☑️ Don't trash prohibited items.
☑️ Order the right size the first time - give us a call, we can help!
Simply contact us when you’re ready. We’ll schedule a pickup and promptly dispose of the contents according to local regulations. If you no longer need the dumpster, this is called a ‘final’.
